Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar

Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar is a Chief IVF Consultant and Endoscopist of Ruby Hall Clinic.
She is the one who started the trend of laparoscopic hysterectomy and all advanced endoscopic surgeries in the city of Pune – since 1995.

She has taken her training in Endoscopic surgery from various world-renowned centers - Sydney, Germany & USA. Her field of specialization is laparoscopic repair of pelvic floor. She has designed many endoscopic instruments and presented her work in many National & International conferences, ISGE (International Society of Gynae Endoscopists), AAGL (All American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists), ASRM. She has published many papers in National & International Journals.

She has conducted endoscopic workshops at many places in India & trained many gynaecologists and surgeons from India & abroad for Endoscopic surgeries at her centre.
Since Dec.2002 she has established a “State-of-the-Art” IVF- Endoscopy Centre at Ruby Hall Clinic. She is the chief of the centre.

She has taken her training in IVF & Infertility from Sydney IVF center Australia, National University Hospital Singapore and from UK.

Ruby Hall IVF Centre is the first centre in the world to develop Blastocyst within 6 months of its set-up. It has achieved its name & reputation in short span of time because of her hard work, dedication & honesty. Her skill in endoscopic surgery is the biggest asset to the centre as well as her patients.
She has been awarded “Sarvashree” award and Gold medal for her pioneer works in the field of Endoscopy & ART in 2004.

She is also Honorary Consultant to Poona Hospital & Research Centre. 


Dr Anuja Joshi

DNB Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune

Dr Anuja Joshi is presently doing DNB Obstetrics and Gynecology under the guidance of Dr Sunita Tandulwadkar at Ruby Hall Clinic.

She has completed her under graduation from SSR medical college (Mauritius) followed by internship from K.E.M hospital (Mumbai).She received honors in anatomy in first year.

Her DNB thesis topic is ‘study of 50 cases of Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy’ She also has done a study on ‘Incidence of Tuberculosis in resident doctors’ during her internship in K.E.M.

Trekking is her passion & she has attended Himalayan treks & bouldering camps as a ‘doctor on call’. She has also participated in many rural awareness programs and polio camps through rotary club.

Her future interest lies in embryology.


Dr. Pooja Abhijit Lodha

D.N.B. Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune

Dr. Pooja Abhijit Lodha presently doing D.N.B. (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) at Ruby Hall Clinic Fertility & Endoscopy Center, Pune under the guidance of  Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar. Her thesis is entitled ‘Postmenopausal Bleeding and Role of Hysteroscopy’.

Dr Pooja is a  Recipient of Late Leela Dubey Award, 2006  for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also been awarded the Best Outgoing Student of the Department of Obstretrics & Gynaecology in the academic session 2005-2006.

She has presented a paper in Oct’06 at the 1st National Medical Students’ Research Conference organized by Moving Academy of Medicine and Biomedicine, Pune. She has also presented a paper on ‘Prevalence of Depression and Dysfunctional Attitude in Medical Undergraduates of Central India’ at Delhi in Dec’06 by the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Manesar.

Dr Pooja has two publications to her credit on ‘Prevalence of Depression and Dysfunctional Attitude in Medical Undergraduates of Central India’ – namely National Medical Students Research Conference Journal’ 2006 and Undergraduates of Central India’ 3rd International NBRC Conference Journal – 2006.

She has worked as a Research Officer for an International Community Study titled ‘United Nations Secretary General Study on Violence Against Children’: A multicountry: 8 countries study.

She also takes interest in environmental research and has been awarded the 1st Prize for research in “Environment & Recycling – remaking the scrap ” by George ’N’ Allan School, Hamilton, Canada.
She achieved 2nd prize in scientific paper presentation in POGS national conference in April 2011. Her topic was Role of Hysteroscopy in Post Menopausal Bleeding.


Mr. Ravi Kant Kapoor

Embryologist,
Fertility & Endoscopy Center, Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.

M.Sc. Zoology worked as Embryologist in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Center, AFMC and Command Hospital, Pune.

After retirement from AFMC Pune, Joined as Embryologist at Ruby Hall IVF & Endoscopy Centre, since 6th May 2010.
In-charge Andrology Section performing semen analysis, morphology & washing, Cryopreservation of gametes and other ART procedures. Imparting training to Gynecologist undergoing ART training courses.

Organized & participated in various National & International ART workshops, conferences, symposiums & CME.
Published number of scientific papers related to animal breeding.

As co-investigator in the project “Effect of Vero-cell Co-culture on Swiss Albino Mice Embryo”, Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology AFMC Pune.

As faculty for CME / Workshop / Symposium organized by various Dept. of AFMC Pune, related to animal oriented research.

Objective: To utilize the attained knowledge & expertise for the welfare of aggrieved couples.
Areas of interest: Swimming, Singing, Gardening etc.


Dr. Parag Hitnalikar

MBBS, D.N.B. Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Dr. Parag Hitnalikar is currently doing National Board’s Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at Ruby Hall Clinic under the guidance of Dr Sunita Tandulwadkar. He has completed his M.B.B.S. from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, where he topped in Forensic Medicine. He completed M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from G.M.C. Miraj.

He has worked as Lecturer in department of OBGY at Sassoon General Hospital, Poona for a period of 9 months. He has also worked as trainer in laparoscopic tubal ligation and medical termination of pregnancy there.

He has presented a paper on “Post Hysterectomy Vault Prolapse” in AMOGS 2006, Loni. He presented a paper on “Hysteroscopic evaluation of uterine cavity in previous ART failure patients and its influence on the pregnancy outcome” in POGS 2011.

He has tremendous interest in singing and has won many prizes in various singing competitions.


Mrs. Sonal Vaidya

Chief Embryologist, Fertility & Endoscopy Center, Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.

She is In-charge of the ART (Assisted Reproductive Techniques) Laboratory and handles procedures like IVF, ICSI, embryo and semen cryopreservation and andrology procedures including the sperm banking.

Passing her Masters Degree in Science from University of Pune with distinction, she has majored in Genetics. 
She has an extensive experience in IVF laboratory advanced techniques, particularly micromanipulation and also workflow improvement and laboratory management. 

She is regularly invited as faculty member at the workshops organized by POGS (Pune Obst. & Gynaec. Society) as well as AMOGS (All Maharashtra Society for Obst. & Gynaec.) and also imparts advanced ART and IUI training to the gynecologists from all over India at the center. 

She has graced the “International Congress of Infertility- ICI 2006” as the National Faculty along with the known legends in the field- Dr. David Mortimer and Ms. Rosemarie Cullinan. Her skills were highly appreciated by the International Faculty where she solely handled “Live Relay of ART” and demonstrated all the laboratory procedures “live” from the lab including the Live ICSI She was In-charge of the IUI hands-on workshop organized for the same conference. She believes that learning is a continuous process that leads to advancement of skills and also believes that effective team work is the key to achieve and maintain high success rates.


Karishma S. Lokhande

Karishma S. Lokhande is currently a trainee embryologist. She has passed her BSc Biotechnology in 2010 and completed her post-graduation in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in 2011 from Nottingham University, UK. She has taken training in, IUI, IVF, ICSI, cryopreservation of embryos and semen, PGD  and semen analysis.

She has also done a project on ' The effects of rFSH and hMG activities on the development in ovine oocytes invitro', involving invitro maturation and fertilization of oocytes and gene expression analysis of cumulus FSH and LH receptors

She has also been awarded a second prize in an III State Level Seminar on "Agricultural Biotechnology for sustainable productivity” for a poster presentation titled as, Production of cost effective red wine by isolating yeast from beetroot and plum. She has also participated in a Biotech Brainstorm contest 2009 organized jointly by Usha Biotech Pvt. Ltd and Institute of Biotechnology.

She has taken training in Kathak & has also representated India in an International dance competition.
